2014‑05‑03 ‑ Email ticket system disruption Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info

Between Saturday May 3rd at 21:27:26 and  Monday May 5th 06:31:26 there were a service disruption to the email ticketing service.

 

This has affected some customers and some email accounts resulting in emails not being imported properly info VisionFlow during this time.

 

The reason for this problem was that some of the internal service components (processes/threads) stopped running without giving an alert that there were a service disruption. Not until we did a routine check in our log files this morning we found the disruption and then could fix it quickly.

 

This in turn may have resulted in errors in your organization's event/history log, similar to "Fetching of email for project ...  failed". This can be ignored since the servers should now work fine again. We will improve our logging and alert mechanism to make sure this problem doesn't happen again in the future.

 

We are very sorry and apologize to the affected customers for the disruption.
